Eligbility

  • Informal Reading and Math Assessments

-Standardized test scores -Teacher recommendation -Academic level -Previous participation -Parent permission

Services

Goals are developed and targeted intervention is directed to the needs of the students. Most students are tutored individually or in small groups for approximately 30 minutes per day within the regular classroom setting. Assistance is typically provided within the classroom whenever possible, but may occur in a separate location if more appropriate.

Parent Involvement

Parents are welcome at the school and to call anytime. A variety of opportunities for parents to become involved are offered throughout the school year, including volunteering, attending various training workshops and family fun events, attending scheduled parent-teacher meetings, participating in PTO, attending field trips, etc…

Parent support is often the key to success! Sharing your love of learning, reading with your child, showing an interest in your child's school day, limiting TV and video exposure, practicing high frequency words and math facts are all ways to make a positive impact on your student's success!
